We wanted to break the stigma of women who drink beer. So we created Petillant, an upscale beer that women would feel confident to order.

Our Target: Young, sophisticated, classy women who work hard and play hard. We knew we wanted something elegant and unique, thus came Petillant. The name came after researching ways to describe wine. Petillant means effervescent with a light sparkle - a perfect way to describe the perfect beer.

It was really important not to exclude men or make them appear inferior or silly for enjoying this beer. We want to cater towards both, but like wine, make this a drink that men and women can enjoy.

At the time of this launch, Twitter was the best way to reach our target audience with a mix of graphics & information. The sharability of tweets was the best way to get people interested in Petillant and share the new brand with their friends and followers. Petillant tweets embodied the brand & the brand's target customer- light hearted, witty, yet professional.
